EXPO 2015: VINO - A TASTE OF ITALY

The Pavilion narrates and celebrates Italian wine and its terroirs, helping to explain and taste excellence Made in Italy, the outcome of 2500 years of history, culture, research and innovation. From the Domus Vini to the Terrace, the route is full of surprises (there is even an App) and a tour around the 5 senses of wine, the symbol of ItalianLifestyle.

The tour of the VINO – A Taste of Italy Pavilion calls upon all five senses (taste, hearing, smell, sight, touch) to ensure total visitor involvement. Sounds, music, the great interpretations of wine in the arts and history (over 2,500 years) narrated through the skilful mastery of artists witnessing the interest of society as a whole towards ‘planet wine’.

A ‘full immersion’ experience for visitors, an harmonious and descriptive yet at the same time kaleidoscopic introduction leading up – along a scenic staircase to the first floor – to the Wine Library and the Wine Store of the future where all the Italian denominations will be presented. Since, in speaking of “Feeding the planet” and the 5 senses, the WINE Pavilion naturally involves tastings.

Almost unique experiences – the Winecard includes a glass and three wine tastings and may be ‘recharged’ only once, following the philosophy of responsible consumption of wine – with over 1,400 wines available on rotation during the six months of the event.

The tour ends on the Terrace, an area where Italian wine-making companies and wine consortia will arrange appointments and guided tastings.

See you there!

"FUORI EXPO 2015"

Italian Makers Village is born from a necessity turned into an opportunity thanks to Expo: to give a new launch of internationalization to the Made in Italy. Confartigianato, already inside the Italian Pavilion with an exposition area and an institutional space, has decided to aim at Expo to give shape to a parallel project that allows and benefits:

– the promotion and commercialization of organizations and products of excellence;

– the interaction with visitors, buyers, and foreign commercial delegations

– the valorization of the cultural, educational, and social aspects of the Made in Italy through exhibits, conventions, set-ups and recreational events that help communicate the meaning of “Italian Craftsmanship”

Upon these basis is born Italian Makers Village, the Fuori Expo of Confartigianato.

During the Friulian week, from 2 to 7 of July, a showcase of tipical friulian products of the best companies will be organized at "Fuori Expo" in Via Tortona 32 in Milan.
We will partecipate with our wines!
